Home Office Hosts FamilyFlickn Day of Free Family Movies

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that its Bond Hill Home Office is hosting FamilyFlickn, a day of family movies, on Saturday, August 12.

Screenings take place from noon-2 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. on the party buses parked at the office, which is located at 1701 Mercy Health Place, Cincinnati, OH 45237. Guests should arrive 30 minutes before show time and all children must be accompanied by an adult. All showings are first come first serve.

Mercy Health’s Home Office is the site of the former Showcase Cinema, which closed in 2008.

FamilyFlickn is the brainchild of Amber Kelly, who grew up in Bond Hill and has fond memories of going to the movies at the former Showcase Cinema. FamilyFlickn works to ensure that family-friendly free events, including movies, are available to the communities of Bond Hill, Roselawn and Avondale. Gathering at movie screenings helps promote family engagement and a sense of community.
