West Hospital Nurse Wins National Scholarship

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Strategic Partners, Inc. and The DAISY Foundation have awarded the Inaugural Cherokee Medical Uniforms Nursing Conference Scholarship to Robin Coyne, an interventional radiology nurse at West Hospital.

The Scholarship Program supports nursing professionals and their career advancement, providing financial assistance to DAISY Award Honorees who are pursing continuing education credits to support their licensure, credentialing or overall professional development.

More than 630 DAISY Award recipients applied for this scholarship. The panel of judges, representing a cross section of nursing leaders, noted that all of the applications were highly competitive and very compelling. They awarded $2,000 scholarships to ten recipients at hospitals across the country.

“Robin is an outstanding nurse and patient advocate! She frequently goes above and beyond to make sure the care team has what it needs to provide the very best care to patients,” said Stephanie Meade, Vice President of Nursing, Mercy Health – West Hospital.
