Healogics, the nation’s leading and largest wound care management company, gives the Robert A. Warriner, III Center of Excellence award to Wound Care Centers® in its network that have met the highest level of quality standards for a minimum of two consecutive years. The award is named for Dr. Warriner, a pioneer in wound care and the former Chief Medical Officer for Healogics.

Clermont Hospital’s Wound Care Center has achieved patient satisfaction rates of 95 percent against a goal of 92 percent and a healing rate of 94 percent against a goal of 91 percent in less than 31 median days along with several other quality standards for two years in a row.

“We are certainly proud of this recognition and even more proud of the amazing success stories we see with our wound care patients,” said Del Schneider, East Market Director of Surgical Services for Mercy Health.  “Our Wound Care Center and hyperbaric medicine program have experienced tremendous growth and provided a very important service to residents throughout southwest Ohio.”

“Every day we are trying to make a difference for our patients to help them return to a better quality of life without being limited by a chronic wound,” said Scott Sinner, MD, Medical Director of the Wound Care Center & Hyperbaric Medicine Program at Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital.  “The Center of Excellence honor is great and tells us we are doing things the right way and truly providing hope and healing for our patients.”
