Mercy Health – Anderson HealthPlex Offers “Dancing the Nutcracker,” a Class Led by the Cincinnati Ballet

Calling all sugarplum fairies! Mercy Health – Anderson HealthPlex announces that enrolment is open for “Dancing the Nutcracker,” a unique dance class presented by Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy.

 

Your little fairies, toy soldiers and mischievous mice will come to life during a six-class series that will have students dancing their way through ballet’s favorite holiday tradition, The Nutcracker.

 

Students explore ballet basics as they make their way through Clara’s dream and journey to The Land of Sweets in Hoffmann’s beloved story.

 

You’re invited to attend a free demonstration at 9:30 or 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 21. The six-week session runs from November 4 – December 9 on Saturdays:

  • 9:30–10:15 a.m., ages 4-5 years
  • 10:15–11 a.m., ages 6-8 years
