The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health Offers Twice Monthly Walk with a Doc Sessions at Kenwood Towne Center in September
Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital continues its free Walk with a Doc program at Kenwood Towne Center with two sessions in September.
The popular walks take place every other Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at the mall, which is located at 7875 Montgomery Road. Walkers will meet at The Jewish Hospital’s Walk with a Doc booth located in front of Anthropologie near Nordstrom’s inside entrance. New walkers get a free t-shirt and a pedometer to log their steps.
Mercy Health Physician, orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist Sanjeev Bhatia, MD, who practices from Mercy Health – Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine locations in Blue Ash and Oxford, leads the Thursday, September 14 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss symptoms and treatment options for rotator cuff issues.
Mercy Health Physician and colon and rectal surgeon Cory D. Barrat, MD, who practices from Mercy Health colorectal and general surgery locations in Kenwood, Avondale and Mason, leads the Thursday, September 28 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss the colon health.
Led by a variety of physicians and other health professionals representing a wide array of health, wellness and fitness-related expertise, the walks start with a brief and informative talk on the doctor’s area of specialty before walking.
The program is free and does not require pre-registration.
