Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital continues its free Walk with a Doc program at Kenwood Towne Center with two sessions in April.
The popular walks take place every other Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at the mall. The mall is located at 7875 Montgomery Road. Walkers will meet at The Jewish Hospital’s Walk with a Doc booth located in front of Anthropologie near Nordstrom’s inside entrance. New walkers get a free t-shirt and a pedometer to log their steps.
Mercy Health Physician and heart and thoracic surgeon Mohi Mitiek, MD, who practices from Mercy Health – Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, Rookwood and Mercy Health – Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, Anderson, leads the Thursday, April 12 walk from 9-10 a.m. and will discuss health topics related to his area of expertise.
Mercy Health Physician and internal medicine provider Eithan Orlev-Shitrit, MD, who practices from Mercy Health – Kenwood Internal Medicine, leads the Thursday, April 26 walk from 9-10 a.m. He will discuss natural diet components that help prevent cardiovascular disease (CVD) and inflammation.
Led by a variety of physicians and other health professionals representing a wide array of health, wellness and fitness-related expertise, the walks start with a brief and informative talk on the doctor’s area of specialty before walking.
The program is free and does not require pre-registration.
