Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital, a 177-bed hospital in Cincinnati, announces two new leadership appointments. Tim Prestridge has been promoted to the president position and will transition into his new role on May 15. Shiley Harper has been named chief financial officer (CFO), which she began in late March.
Prestridge has more than 20 years of executive experience in the acute hospital environment in both financial and operational roles. He joined the ministry in 2019 as the CFO of Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital. Prior to joining the ministry, he served as the interim CFO at five different hospitals with LifePoint Health. While at CMH Regional Health System in Wilmington, Ohio, Prestridge served as both CFO and chief operating officer. During his tenure at HCA’s Terre Haute Regional Hospital, he gained experience serving first as CFO, then as COO. Prestridge is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Prestridge earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn. and an MBA from Shorter University in Rome, Ga.
Harper previously worked as the assistant chief financial officer in our Richmond, Va. market where she made significant contributions. Prior to joining the ministry, she worked for Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn. as the budget manager. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and her MBA from the University of Tennessee.
