Mercy Health – Anderson has named Kathleen (Kathy) Healy-Collier, president of Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital, effective Tuesday, June 26, 2023.
Healy-Collier will be responsible for the overall operational success of Anderson Hospital, including achieving quality goals and maximizing growth opportunities.
“Beginning her career in Health Information, Kathy's leadership acumen led her to move up the ranks, eventually assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer. Her career has seen her contribute to hospitals and systems in Illinois, Alabama, and Tennessee, where she earned a reputation for her proven expertise,” said Mercy Health – Cincinnati President Brian Gwyn. “Kathy's success in forging strong relationships with executives, board members, and system leadership, along with her record of exceeding objectives and delivering exceptional results, testifies to the caliber of leader she is today, and I’m pleased to welcome her to our Mercy Health team.”
Kathy holds a Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Master of Health Administration from the University of Memphis, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics / Management from Saint Louis University. Kathy also lends her expertise to academia, serving as an associate professor at Radford University in Virginia and as a program instructor mentoring students in the MHSA program at Texas Tech.
