St. Rita’s Medical Center has long partnered with area community organizations to bring necessary resources to those in need. Now, this group is making things even more accessible by bringing several organizations under one roof.

Mercy Health is excited to introduce the newly formed Community Impact Center located at 300 Market Street, Lima.

“This building has been home to various support functions over the past 20 years. When some jobs moved to remote work during 2020, we were able to re-think how to best use such a beautiful, centrally located space,” said Beth Keehn, director, Government and Community Affairs, Mercy Health – Lima. “This turned out to be a great opportunity to pull together groups who work collaboratively in the community to drive better impact and outcomes and to make it so we can now work more easily together to maximize efforts.”

The Community Impact Center will house:

  • Mercy Health – Community Health
  • Mercy Health – Community Affairs
  • Mercy Health – Hospice
  • Activate Allen County
  • Help Me Grow
  • Urban Impact Development Corporation

"Activate Allen County is excited to be a part of the Mercy Health Community Impact Center,” said Josh Unterbrink, co-director, Activate Allen County. “The partnership allows many entities that are working on community health to increase our synergy and connectedness, along with strengthening our ability to continue collaborating to address health & well-being issues facing our community. We are blessed to be a part of the center."
