Supplier Diversity

As pertaining to all resources within the Mercy Health ministry, we treat our responsibility for them as sacred, and endeavor to honor God through faithful stewardship.

In this, Mercy Health is committed to principles of inclusion and equal opportunity. Mercy Health applies these principles to its purchasing activity by encouraging the participation of all vendors that meet or exceed the performance standards established by Mercy Health's Supply Chain management company, Advantus Health Partners.
We believe that ensuring our supplier base includes Minorities, Women, Veterans and businesses owned by people with disabilities is a sound business practice. This contributes to lowering our operational costs, encourages innovation, creates competition and supports the overall health of the greater business community within the markets we serve.
We actively identify, solicit and contract with all businesses that meet our performance requirements related to cost, quality and timeliness. Concurrently, we expect those with whom we engage in commerce to share similar commitments to principles of inclusion and equal opportunity.
