Ronda Lehman
President of Mercy Health — Lima and Mercy Health — Toledo

Ronda Lehman, PharmD, MBA, FACHE, serves as President of Mercy Health — Lima and Mercy Health — Toledo part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, one of the largest health systems in the United States. She is dedicated to advancing the system's mission by improving quality and expanding access to care, particularly for underserved populations.

She oversees a large, integrated network of care spanning northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. The Toledo market includes a seven-hospital system serving a 20-county region, complemented by advanced services such as Life Flight critical air transport and a strong academic partnership with Mercy College of Ohio.

Ronda's journey with Mercy Health began in 1995 as a pharmacy intern. Over the years, she has held a variety of leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer for Mercy Health Physicians. Since assuming the position as the Market President at Mercy Health St. Rita's in 2019, she has focused on strengthening patient care services, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing health care delivery for our region. Ronda is highly involved in the community in a variety of ways, and St. Rita's has always played a critical role in addressing our community's fundamental health needs. In 2024, Mercy Health St. Rita's opened a newly renovated inpatient behavioral health unit - the only facility in the 10-county area.

A dedicated health care leader, Ronda holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Tiffin University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and was named a 2025 ATHENA Award recipient.

For Ronda, health care is more than a profession — it is a calling. She is deeply committed to serving her community and advancing health equity. She serves on several boards, including the Ohio Northern University Board of Trustees, Lifeline of Ohio and The First National Bank of Pandora.

Outside of work, Ronda enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, running, gardening and canning.

Jim Weidner Chief Operating Officer, Mercy Health - Toledo

Chief Operating Officer, Mercy Health - Toledo

Jim has responsibility for the operations and performance of the region’s hospitals and associated outpatient sites. In this key position, he is responsible for driving quality, patient safety and customer service to even higher levels. He has oversight for the region’s eight hospitals in Toledo, Oregon, Tiffin, Willard and Defiance with more than 8,800 employees, nearly 630 members of our clinically integrated network and revenues of nearly $1 billion.

Jim works extensively with hospital presidents to meet the needs of physicians and their patients across the board and in key services for which Mercy Health is known – cardiology, oncology, neurology and critical care services. Enhancing operational effectiveness is a key component to his role in helping to further Mercy Health’s mission to care for all in need.

Jim came to Mercy Health in November 2017 with more than 20 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, with a strong record of delivering results, measured by clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, cost control and revenue growth.  

Prior to his role at Mercy Health, he served as regional vice president for Quorum Health Corporation, where he led the system’s largest region consisting of 13 hospitals in Colorado and Illinois. Prior to Quorum Health, Jim was CEO/President of Cullman Regional Medical Center, a 145-bed medical center in Alabama.  He has also served as COO of St. Charles Hospital, a subsidiary of Catholic Health Services of Long Island NY, CEO of Providence Hospital, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh Mercy Health System, and held various executive positions with Conemaugh Health System in central PA.


Deb Bryant, DNP, RN
Chief Nursing Officer of Mercy Health – Toledo.

Deb Bryant, DNP, RN, joined Mercy Health in December 2019 as Chief Nursing Officer for Mercy Health - St. Anne and Mercy Health - St. Charles in Toledo.  Prior to Deb’s role at Mercy Health, she served as CNO in the Saint Joseph Health System in Lexington Kentucky. 

 Deb has nursing experience in pediatrics, pediatric oncology, Intensive Care Unit, and emergency care. Her extensive accomplishments include team building across the Lexington market, increasing nursing retention, and succession planning in the nursing departments. Deb’s experience also included her tenure in the US Army Reserves as a member of a forward surgical team. She was the commander of this team for 6 years before her retirement.  

Deb began her nursing career with an associate in nursing degree from the Lexington Community College. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Eastern Kentucky University in 2015. Deb is a member of the American Nurses Association, Ohio Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association, and the American Organization of Nursing Leaders.

Dr. Toni Green-Cheatwood, DO, MBA, FACOS Chief Clinical Officer, Mercy Health - Toledo

Dr. Toni Green-Cheatwood, DO, MBA, FACOS
Chief Clinical Officer, Mercy Health – Toledo

As Chief Clinical Officer for Mercy Health – Toledo, Dr. Toni Green-Cheatwood leads clinical strategy, physician alignment, quality and safety initiatives, and care transformation across the region. In this role, she collaborates closely with clinical and operational leaders to support care teams, drive clinical excellence, and ensure the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care rooted in Mercy Health’s mission. Her leadership is instrumental in advancing system-wide priorities around access, equity, and outcomes.

Dr. Green-Cheatwood brings fifteen years of experience as both a practicing physician and health system executive. Most recently, she served as Chief Medical Officer at Lutheran Medical Center and Associate Regional Chief Medical Officer for Intermountain Health’s Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming region. A fellowship-trained breast surgeon, she spent nearly ten years in clinical practice and program leadership, with a focus on multidisciplinary oncology care, physician engagement, and community-based health access.

Dr. Green-Cheatwood earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed general surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey followed by a fellowship in breast surgery at the Mayo Clinic. She holds an Executive MBA in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
