What are the advantages of working in a community-teaching institution?
Pharmacy residents will have the opportunity to work with a variety of medical residents, including from the Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Podiatry and Emergency Medicine programs. Pharmacy precepts IPPE and APPE students from two different local colleges of pharmacy and has a well-established layered learning model.
What are the advantages of working in a larger health system?
Working in a large health system allows the resident to network with residents and pharmacists through committee work and drug policy development.
What leadership opportunities are available through your program?
We offer a longitudinal leadership learning experience that is led by the dean of pharmacy at Ohio Northern University. The pharmacy residents meet with the preceptor and other pharmacy residents monthly throughout the year.
