Meet the Director and Team — Emergency Medicine Residency at St. Rita's Medical Center
Welcome from the Program Director
Thank you for your interest in the Mercy Health Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Lima, Ohio. St Rita’s Medical Center was founded in 1918 to provide life-saving care during the Great Flu Pandemic. More than 100 years later, our institution continued to provide expert and compassionate medical care to the community during the COVID‐19 pandemic, which coincided with our accreditation as a new residency program. Since inception, we have maintained an innovative approach to emergency care, scholarship and education in the Lima region, serving more than half a million individuals across ten counties.
