Meet the Director and Team — Pharmacy Ambulatory Residency at St. Vincent Medical Center

Welcome from the Program Director

Thank you for your interest in the PGY 2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (MHSVMC).  What an exciting time to get involved in ambulatory care as the pharmacist footprint continues to expand in the outpatient setting. Mercy Health has clinical pharmacists in the ambulatory care setting working with chronic disease state management using collaborative practice agreements, population health, transitions of care, comprehensive medication review and home visits. Each of these areas allow the PGY 2 ambulatory care resident to build on clinic knowledge and refine skills necessary to become an independent clinical pharmacist within an ambulatory care setting. Our first resident graduated in 2015.  With each graduating resident, I continued to be amazed as to the resident’s growth and accomplishments seen during the year.

Please explore the website to learn more about our program. I look forward to the possibility of meeting and working with you in the future.
