Meet the Director and Team — Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at St. Charles Hospital

Welcome from the Program Director

Thank you for your interest in the PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program offered by Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital!

Our mission is to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those in need, especially people who are poor, dying and underserved.

Mercy Health recognizes mental health as a nationwide issue that affects individuals, families and the communities that we serve. As such, we place a priority on providing a continuum of care for mental health disorders throughout the ministry. Our highly trained health care professionals are dedicated to providing the best treatment options for our patients. We provide acute care for individuals whose emotional and behavioral manifestations have put them at risk of harm to self or others, in addition to outpatient interventional psychiatry services. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals that includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurses, behavioral health technicians, social workers and pharmacists.

We look forward to meeting with you, learning about your goals and working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Masa Scott, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP
