Meet the Director and Team — Emergency Medicine Residency at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital

Welcome from the Program Director

It is a pleasure to introduce you to our Department of Emergency Medicine and our residency program. Having been part of this program since its inception, I have had the privilege of watching it grow into a dynamic, forward-thinking training environment grounded in strong clinical education, mentorship and teamwork.

As Program Director, I am continually inspired by the dedication, innovation, and energy of our residency leadership, faculty, and residents. Our program is intentionally designed to provide broad clinical exposure, hands-on experience and a supportive learning culture that prepares graduates for success in any emergency medicine practice setting.

We are deeply committed to resident education, professional development, and well-being. As our program continues to mature, our graduates consistently leave well-trained, confident, and highly competitive for fellowship, academic and community emergency medicine careers. We are proud of the physicians we train and the impact they have on the patients and communities they serve.

The program is fully accredited by the Residency Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Residents completing the program are eligible for board certification in emergency medicine. We currently offer nine categorical emergency medicine positions.

We invite you to explore our program and see what makes training in emergency medicine at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital both challenging and rewarding.

Core Faculty

Our faculty and staff are outstanding mentors and educators. All of our faculty leaders are actively practicing, hands-on clinicians who work alongside the residents in our emergency departments. Bedside clinical teaching coupled with clinical and educational expertise make our faculty some of the best. Several of our faculty are administrative leaders within our hospital system which further bolsters their educational strengths.
